The webinar on 'Research Methodology in Literature' was conducted on November 25, 2023, by the Department of English and Literary Studies, Brainware University. The aim was to provide a comprehensive understanding of the methodologies employed in literary research, enhancing the knowledge of participants and facilitating a deeper insight into the nuances of conducting scholarly research in the field of literature.

The webinar featured distinguished speakers:

2. Dr. Ritushree Sengupta, Assistant Professor, Patrasayer Mahavidyalaya, Bankura University
3. Dr. Sharmistha Chatterjee, Professor at Department of English, Aliah University: Developing

The sessions were structured to cover various aspects of research methodologies, catering to the diverse interests and academic backgrounds of the participants, resulting in an easier understanding of forming a research paper or a thesis.

Focusing on qualitative approaches, this segment explored the significance of interviews, case studies, and textual analysis in uncovering deeper meanings within literary works. In this session, the students were introduced to various types of approaches in reading a text such as feministic, structuralism, or post-structuralism readings.
