General Nursing & Midwifery | · Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last ten years till 31.12.2023. Female candidates can apply only. · Must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and/or Nepali · Must pass ‘10+2’ examination from any recognized Board ( Any discipline) with at least 40% marks in aggregate. ‘Passed’ means passed in both theory and practical/ project as applicable. Must pass in English in (10+2) examination. · The applicant’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.07.2024 i.e., the applicant should have been born on or before 31.07.2007. No Upper Age Limit · Vocational Stream i. CBSE Board: Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from the Health Care Science discipline. ii. The candidates passing West Bengal Higher Secondary (Vocational) Examination, 2023 onwards, who opted for “Healthcare Science” under “Community Healthcare” Group must pass in any two of the following combination of Subjects: - · Community Health Counselor (COHC) · Patient Care Assistant (PTCA) · Public Health & First Aid (PHFA) iii.
