Introduction to research and its implications
To equip participants with the knowledge of different tools and techniques used in the data analysis in modern day management and social sciences research for adding value to the current knowledge domain, a Two-Week Faculty Development Program on “Advanced Research Methodology” was arranged from January 5– 15, 2022 from 3 PM onwards.
The objective was to make the participants identify and use appropriate methods, tools and techniques for their research which they will be able to contribute significantly in their respective knowledge domain. This FDP addressed the recent trends applied in social science research. As a researcher it is essential for one to know the basics and have a core idea in order to satisfy the purpose of research and establish an acceptable conclusion.
This FDP program intended to provide the academicians a clear understanding of research skills and its methodologies. This program summarized the aspects related to the literature review by collection of data, analyzing it and finally framing it into a research paper.
This programme intended to orient participants towards developing their own research plans with due attention to every stage of research. The programme was enriching and intellectually stimulating for the participants.
