Dr. Subhankar Saha is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at Brainware University. He formerly worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of St. Martin’s Engineering College, Hyderabad, and at Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai. He earned his doctoral degree from the National Institute of Technology Silchar. His research includes exploring various Machine Learning algorithms such as Neural Networks, Support Vector Regression, Gaussian Process Regression, Decision Trees, Ensemble algorithms, etc. in the prediction of salient responses to replace large-scale experimentation in allied areas of Manufacturing such as Additive Manufacturing, Micro-EDM surface texturing, WEDM surface texturing, and Sustainable composites development. His research also includes integrating Machine Learning algorithms with novel optimization algorithms in tracing the optimal parametric combinations in manufacturing problems
