World Nature Conservation Day celebrations at Brainware University

World Nature Conservation Day

The final scene in the Steven Spielberg film 'Schindler’s List' focuses on the phrase “he who saves one life…saves the world entire.” Oskar Schindler saved 1200 Jewish lives during the Holocaust.

In an age where the world is threatened with deforestation, global warming, plastic usage, burning of fossil fuels etc., planting a seed, acts as a symbol to save humanity. If we all can involve in this noble gesture, we will leave a better world for the generations to come.

On July 28, 2023, to celebrate World Nature Conservation Day, Hon'ble Chancellor Phalguni Mukhopadhyay made a huge difference by engaging in plantation works to inspire his colleagues and students to get involved in this virtuous act. He was also joined by his colleagues in this thought-provoking endeavour.
