To give the students a pragmatic approach to immense business opportunities, Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Brainware University arranged a virtual seminar along with Institution's Innovation Council on the topic How to plan for startup-legal & ethical steps on May 7, 2022 . The speaker of this event was a student of the Department of Law, Ms. Ekata Deb. She, being a woman entrepreneur herself, had tried to bring a zest & motivational insight for all attendees to pursue entrepreneurship as a career choice.

The webinar encompassed the basics of startups, including its initiation, funds, legal and marketing analytics, financial strategies, organization management, ideation, insights to intellectual property rights, importance of Udyam Aadhar, MSME, ISO and so on . The session focused on the benefits for all the young aspiring individuals who are planning for their individual startup.

The speaker suggested, “Identifying the problem and researching the solution is very necessary. She motivated everyone to bring out their innovative and creative ideas and shared a few secrets of turning the idea into reality. From her point of view the path of innovation has four steps: Ideate, Create, Diffuse, Validate.

The event was very interactive and it ended with a Q and A session. The participants were enlightened by the knowledge on how to succeed in a business environment.
