Workshop on 'New Age Sensors' for Multimedia students

The excited Multimedia students were gathered at the session on 'New Age Sensors through the Lumix Lens'. Sutanu Das from Panasonic conducted a lively session for the students. He started by discussing the basics of photography in a glimpse. This workshop was organised by the Department of Multimedia on May 30, 2023.

The difference between cinematography and videography was discussed with the students by Sutanu. "So, what are the advantages and disadvantages of mirrorless camera?" he asked the students. "Basically, DSLR is a trial and error method, with mirrorless, view finder became digital. Now, one can check the exposure. Also, mirrorless technology changes in focus and it will become better with AI," he added.

The students came to know about the technicalities regarding the handling of the camera. The session was indeed an intriguing one for the students.
