30-hour VAC on 'Digital Health and Entrepreneurship'
We are entering the new digital era of medicine where telemedicine, virtual reality, robotics, smartphones, and other technological advancements are slowly becoming part of regular healthcare practices. Digital health technology offers a way to change many of the current issues that the Indian healthcare system faces. However, there is an urgent need for entrepreneurs, both in the healthcare field and non-related fields, to challenge the status quo, work together and forge ahead.
With this objective, the departments of Management and Commerce and Hospital Management are conducting a 30-hour value-added course (VAC) on 'Digital Health and Entrepreneurship'.

Nowadays, you don't need to visit a doctor's chamber to get a checkup. Similarly, for getting medicines, visiting medicine shops are not important. Digital health and tele medicines have made it possible to get these services at home. The usefulness of these mediums was realised during the COVID-19 pandemic. With emerging technology, digital health and tele medicines are expected to get more popularity in the coming years.
To update the students on the emerging trends in the university, the departments of Management and Commerce and Hospital Management are introducing a Value Added Course (VAC) on 'Introduction to Digital Health and Telemedicine.'
