The applicants for a paramedical course can pursue BSc or Diploma in Optometry, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Lab Technology, CCT, OTT, even as a Physician Assistant. The paramedical professionals are thoroughly trained in a branch of paramedical sciences, also known as the Allied Health Sciences. This involves absorbing knowledge in medical and healthcare technology, equipment, and assisting with the man-machine interface, in the presence or absence of the doctor to stabilise a patient’s condition. Paramedics are also responsible for conducting diagnoses and producing diagnostic reports.
