Bawsonto: The Festival of Spring at Brainware University |

Everyone lauded the university’s unique initiative to celebrate this year’s
Bawsonto Utsav ‘Onno Bawsonto’ with the members of Jagoroni’s ‘Natun Ghar’,
an old-age home. Our Hon’ble Chancellor Phalguni Mookhopadhayay was present
at the event that started with a spectacular cultural program and went on to
spread some colours in the lives of these senior citizens. Our students also
had their memorable Holi moments on campus, spreading the colours of joy and
happiness.

The School of Law organised a 2-day conference on ‘Application of
Computational Intelligence in Law and Criminology’ which was attended by
Padmashri Kazi Masum Akhtar, whose wisdom illuminated the hall of our
university along with various other eminent dignitaries.

Workshop on ‘Court Practices and Procedures’
|

|
The students at the School of Law had the opportunity to learn from
Honourable Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta, Former Chief Justice of the High
Court of Hyderabad for the States of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh at a
workshop on ‘Court Practices and Procedures’. Hon’ble Chancellor Phalguni
Mookhopadhayay also met with him and gifted him the book titled,
'Applications of Computational Intelligence in Law & Criminology’ which
bears the conference proceedings.

Krishi Mela 2024
|
|
|
|
Kojagori Farmer's Producer Company Limited, in association with the
Department of Agriculture, Brainware University, hosted a dynamic Krishi
Mela. The Hon'ble Minister Rathin Ghosh, from the Department of Food and
Supplies, Government of West Bengal, graced the Mela with his presence.
Registrar Mahua Pal, Brainware University, also attended the event. Our
dedicated students actively participated, showcasing their ingenious models
and engaging in hands-on experiences to understand the practical challenges
faced by farmers. Over 550 farmers registered for this event.
